The luxury Bardia Jungle Safari tour itinerary highlights:

Meet Goddess Kumari, the living god of Nepal:

Kathmandu will hold many magical and special moments during the tour. But the most special one will be the private audience with Goddess Kumari.

Kumari is the depth of faith and religious richness in the Nepalese community. In her presence, you will feel hopeful, blessed, and powerful.

The ancient courtyards and temples of Kathmandu:

Kathmandu is not your usual metropolitan city. This megacity operates on the fuel of ancient beliefs, conventions, and spirituality. In Kathmandu, you will walk through centuries-old courtyards that once served as playgrounds for the great dynasties.

From the famous Monkey Temple, Bouddha Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple to the three durbar squares (Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square), you will have a great time sightseeing in Kathmandu.

Chandragiri and Changunarayan temple:

Chandragiri is a hill station southwest of Kathmandu. Situated 2,551 meters above sea level, Chandragiri offers a quick break from the chaos of Kathmandu. Travelers can enjoy a cable car ride up the hill. The Himalayan range is visible from the top of the hills on clear days.

The Changunarayan Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Nepal. It is believed to have been built in the 4th century CE (during the Licchavi dynasty). Here, you will see Kathmandu's earliest surviving stone inscription (464 CE), erected by King Manadeva.

Lumbini, where Buddhism took its first breath:

On the sacred land of the living goddess, the birth of Buddha is not very surprising. Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, was born in Nepal, specifically in the city of Lumbini.

Lumbini, the entire city, is a world heritage and the center of Buddhism. We take you where it all started. You will explore the exact place where the Buddha was born and also discover Tilaurakot (ancient Kapilvastu), where the Buddha spent his early childhood as a prince.

Chase Bengal tigers in Bardia National Park:

The Bardia National Park is the home of Bengal tigers. In Bardia, you will experience luxury in the wilderness. We have carefully curated jungle safaris and other experiences in the Bardia National Park.

Bengal tigers are one of the largest wild cats and are mostly found in South and Southwest Asia, including Nepal. They are rare, and seeing them closely is a privilege.

In addition, you will see one-horned rhinos, wild elephants, sloth bear, deer, many species of birds, and crocodiles during a jungle safari in Bardia National Park.

The best-kept secret of Nepal, Palpa:

After an adventure in the Bardia National Park, you will travel to Palpa, which is a Newari town perched on a hilltop.

In Palpa, you will experience authentic Newari houses, cobblestone streets, brass artisans, and a 19th-century palace that 99% of tourists visiting Nepal have never heard of.

The time slows down in Palpa. Peaceful evenings, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the old market, and welcoming locals shape your journey in this beautiful city.

*Palpa is known for the Ranighat Palace. It is known as the Taj Mahal of Nepal.

Embrace lakes and mountains in Pokhara:

Pokhara is the second biggest city in Nepal, and like Kathmandu, it is also very unique. The city of Pokhara coexists with nature. Imagine world-class hospitality and modern amenities with lakes, mountains, caves, and waterfalls.

You will have a great time at Phewa Lake, and while exploring tourist sites like Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Begnas Lake, Bat Cave, World Peace Pagoda, etc.

*Pokhara is famous for paragliding and hot air balloon rides. We can arrange them if you are interested. Extra charges apply.

A short side quest to Ghandruk:

Ghandruk is a beautiful Himalayan village, located in the Annapurna region near Pokhara. This village went viral on social media in 2025 for its incredible beauty and view of snow-capped mountains.

Luckily, you can travel to Ghandruk in a car. The ride will be bumpy, though. In Ghandruk, explore the tradition of the Gurung community and witness mountains such as Fishtail, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Hiunchuli, etc.

You will get to live your remote Himalayan mountain village dream in Ghandruk.

A final retreat in Nagarkot:

We wrap up the luxury Bardia Jungle Safari tour in Nagarkot. It is a hill station near Kathmandu. After all the adventure and traveling, you will have a relaxing retreat in Nagarkot.

Enjoy a night at a luxury property. Have a spa consultation and delicious food. The next morning, catch a soothing sunrise and mesmerizing view of the Himalayas (the sky must be clear).

Travel back to Kathmandu and spend one full day in the city before the final departure.

Who is the luxury Bardia Jungle Safari tour for?

The luxury Bardia Jungle Safari tour package is very special and unique. It is for travelers who are not stuck in the Himalayan mountains of Nepal and wish to explore this beautiful country beyond the mountains.

You will travel through diverse landscapes, faiths, and lifestyles that present Nepal in its true form. Starting the voyage in Kathmandu, you will travel to the plains of Lumbini and Bardia National Park before returning to the hills of Palpa, Pokhara, and Nagarkot.
